Players need a Caesars Rewards card to register and play in poker tournaments during the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and beyond. Like all reward cards, each level of card status comes with benefits. Playing slots and table games, as well as spending money at Caesars Resorts, earns tier credits. The basic Caesars Rewards membership is Gold, followed by Platinum, Diamond, Diamond +, Diamond Elite, and Seven Stars. You can check all the benefits here.

With Caesars Rewards, the diamond status, earned by earning 15,000 Tier Credits, offers complimentary valet and self-parking at many Caesars-owned properties, priority lines at hotel check-in, restaurants, casino cages, and the Caesars Rewards Center (including at the WSOP), discounted rooms (15% discount), and waived resort fees.

Tier Credits always reset to 0 on January 1 since Tier Status must be earned each year to maintain your status for the following year. On February 1st, the status earned in 2024 was adjusted on all accounts. For players who gained Caesars Diamond Status through the Founders Card “short-cut” left, these players now shut out – unless, of course, they had earned the status.

Founders Card is not a credit card but a lifestyle membership for entrepreneurs where, according to their website, “Members enjoy unparalleled privileges, including exclusive status upgrades, preferred pricing, and unique experiences with over 500 carefully curated partner brands.“ This is a paid membership and one must be accepted and approved to enjoy the benefits. One of these benefits was being upgraded to Caesars Diamond Status.

In 2024, users already thought the partnership between Founders Card and Caesars had ended but in the last hour, it was confirmed that the relationship would continue one more year. The chatter started again late in November and this time for 2025, the contract was not renewed with Caesars, but Founders Card members could enjoy a Wynn membership if they have the upgraded Founders Card Elite membership.

As the Founders Card is a private membership, the price of the membership is individual and can only be confirmed if you reach out to them directly. According to upgradedpoints, the Wynn membership through the Founders Card will not have all the benefits but will give you 30% off room rates.

Caesars Rewards members can usually earn rewards credits from WSOP buy-ins, but at the time of publication, only 2024 reward credits were published. Playing the $10,000 Main Event in 2024 earned 3,250 reward credits. Reward credits can be redeemed towards hotel reservations, WSOP buy-ins, restaurants and spa treatments, but they do not give you tier credits that would increase your Caesars Rewards status (Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Diamond +, etc).

At the current time, Caesars isn’t matching other reward statuses, for example, from Wynn, MGM Rewards, or Venetian, so if you need Diamond status this summer for the WSOP, you need to earn it the hard way – at the slots or in the pit.
