The first half of the WPT Season 23 schedule has been announced. It will consist of four WPT Main Tour festivals and three stops for the WPT Prime Tour. Seven events will be held in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
“With the arrival of the new year, we look ahead to the 23rd season of the World Poker Tour,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska.
WPT Main Tour and WPT Prime Starts in Cambodia
The World Poker Tour kicks off its 2025 season with back-to-back action in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where both the WPT Main Tour and WPT Prime will take place at the same location. The $1,100 WPT Prime Cambodia Championship runs from February 14 to 18 and is immediately followed by the $3,500 WPT Cambodia Championship Main Event from February 19 to February 24.
Main Tour Stops
After Cambodia, the WPT Main Tour continues with a series of classic and exciting stops through the spring. The WPT Rolling Thunder festival runs from February 27 to March 19, with the $3,500 Rolling Thunder Championship from March 16 to 19.
Next, the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood, Florida, takes center stage from March 19 to April 8. The $3,500 Seminole Hard Rock Championship will be the highlight of the series, running from April 4 to 8.

The final stop of the Main Tour will be the WPT Choctaw festival, a staple of the WPT schedule since its inclusion in 2015. It will run from April 16 to May 5. The championship event, which has a $3,800 buy-in, will run from May 2 to May 5. Both the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and Choctaw Championships will be filmed for television, with final table dates released later.
Prime Tour Stops
After a double-header in Cambodia, WPT Prime Cyprus is returning this year after a great debut last year. Action at the Chamada Prestige Hotel & Casino will take place from March 6 to 17, with a $1,100 buy-in Championship event.
Following Cyprus, the WPT Prime series heads to the land down under for WPT Prime Gold Coast in Australia, where the championship event runs from March 21 to March 26 with an AUD $2,000 buy-in.
Additionally, WPT Prime Taiwan has already been announced but is set to take place in August.
