The countdown for the Olybet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker has officially started. Running from January 25 to February 2, there’s no doubt the action will be intriguing at the Olympic Casino Lietuva. The schedule is filled with various tournaments that is sure to appeal to all poker players, with a €250,000 guaranteed Main Event being the crown jewel.
Let’s dissect the tournament schedule and see exactly what’s in store in the Lithuanian capital at the end of the month.
A Main Event For the Ages
As previously teased, the €550 Main Event will be the star of the show. With three starting flights running January 30-31, a large player field is to be expected, fighting it out for their share of the €250,000 guaranteed prize pool. Day 2 will be played on February 1, and a winner will be crowned at the end of day 3 which will be played on the February 2.
This will be the third edition of the Ace Breaker showdown. In the inaugural tournament back in 2023, Lithuanian Vasilij Barna emerged victorious after conquering a field of 470 players. For this feat he was awarded €45,575, a number somewhat larger than what Paulius Zilinskas took home after winning the event last year for €34,805. This year, the festival is destined to break all records when a new poker king or queen of Vilnius will be crowned.
Players are also offered great opportunities to secure their Main Event seat for a smaller price. The event boasts €30 satellites daily with January 27 being the exception. January 26 i Mega Satellite with 5 guaranteed seats is scheduled to kick off at 18:00.
PLO, Sviten, PKO’s and More
But of course, the Main Event is just one of many tournaments in this exceptional schedule. All bounty hunters ought to gear up; PKO’s and bounty tournaments are running almost every day, with the €350 NLH Progressive Bounty Warm-Up standing out as a two-day event.
There’s no secret that Sviten is one of the most popular mixed game in the Baltics, and players who are fond of this action-packed game should register for the €150 Sviten tournament which is played on January 31.
There’ll also be plenty of PLO action, such as the €250 PLO 4/5, which commences January 27. Another exciting tournament is the €150 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Online Progressive Bounty. Players can participate in the tournament via the OlyBet poker client, and a €5,000 guaranteed prize pool embosses the tournament.
It wouldn’t be a first-class live poker event without some high roller action. Last year, the €1,100 High Roller attracted 78 players which resulted in a €74,880 prize pool.
