Nicolas Milgrom Kicks Off 2025 PGT Mixed Games With a Win

Event #1: $5,100 H.O.R.S.E of 2025 PGT Mixed Games attracted 130 entries, which generated a prize pool of $650,000, with 19 players in the money and $159,250 reserved for the first place. Seven players got their tickets to the event through the satellite, helping this year’s edition beat last year’s 89 entries.
Jerry Wong, who started the day as chip leader, collected chips left and right and had 70 percent of all the chips two levels into the final table.
Nicolas Milgrom has won the heads-up battle against Jerry Wong, where he had only two big blinds at some point but still managed to turn things over and win $159,250 and the trophy. Wang won $97,500 for his second-place finish.
Nicolas Milgrom has collected $475,037 in total live earnings, and this win is by far the most significant result of his live poker career.

Huabao Chen was one of the players who got his seat through the satellite and turned it into a fifth-place finish for $39,000. Walter Chambers was eliminated in fourth place for $52,000, his fifth PokerGo Tour cash.
Benjamin Miner finished in third place for $71,500 while also reaching two milestones: breaking one million in total live earnings and reaching his first PTG final table.

Adam Friedman Turnes His Short Stack Into His Third PGT Title

Adam Friedman showcased his resilience and took down Event #2: $5,100 8-Game, outlasting a record-breaking field of 148 entries, to pick up his third PokerGO Tour title and $170,200. This win has pushed Fridman’s total live winnings up to $4,967,000, with $1,308,634 coming from PGT. Friedman has made 17 PGT cashes and 10 final tables.
Five-time WSOP bracelet winner entered the final table as the shortest stack but managed to get a few double-ups and scored a couple of eliminations. Fu “Grasshopper” Wong began the final day as the chip leader, but his momentum quickly shifted, after he found himself in trouble, doubling up multiple opponents. His deep run came to an end in fifth place for $44,400 after losing a massive three-way pot in 2-7 Triple Draw, where his eight-six low was outdrawn by Friedman’s number three.
Friedman also disposed of Nick Schulman in third place after he was all-in on fourth street of Stud with a straight gutshot draw against Friedman’s tens. By the seventh, Friedman made a wheel and Schulman bricked, sending him to the rail with $74,000 in the pocket.

Friedman went into the heads-up with a close to 3.5:1 chip lead against Tal Avivi and finished the job in the first hand of heads-up in Omaha Hi-Lo. He went for a triple barrel with trips against Avivi, who called it off with two pairs and was eliminated in second place for $107,300.
