The 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition was the first of its kind in the majestic Latvian capital of Riga at the Olympic Casino Voodoo from March 22-30.
The event shattered Latvian poker records with nearly 1,900 entries creating nearly €500,000 in combined prize pools throughout the festival. Riga was put on display with players coming from far and near from 30 different countries including Australia, South Korea, Canada, Japan, and Brazil with nearly half the entries coming from outside of Latvia. Outside Latvia, the most players came from Lithuania, Finland, Norway, and Ukraine.
While many players traveled home outside of Latvia with hard-earned trophies, the biggest trophy of them all stayed on home soil after Latvia’s Roberts Krīgers won the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Riga Voodoo Spring Edition €1,100 Main Event for €33,300.
