Ten Multi-Day Events During the 2025 Kings of Tallinn

The 2025 Kings of Tallinn is less than two weeks away from liftoff. The 10-year celebratory edition of northern Europe’s biggest poker festival is set to break all records, and Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park will buzz with excitement from February 21 to March 2.

With a single glance at the tournament schedule, it becomes evident the Kings of Tallinn will be something extraordinary. There are 64 tournaments, including the €1,000,000 guarantee Main Event. Our team at poker.pro somewhat dissected the schedule earlier, and now, we’ll break it down even further, looking at the various multi-day tournaments.

Event #2: €200 NLH Kings of Tallinn 2025 DeepStack Opening Event (February 20-21)

February 21 may be the official start date of the festival, but action will stealthily start on February 20 with an opening event. This tournament will be played inside the Olympic Park Casino, before all other Kings of Tallinn action will take place at the event area of the Hilton Tallinn Park hotel.

Event #4: €350 NLH Kings of Tallinn Cup (February 21-22)

The €350 Kings of Tallinn Cup has become a very popular feature in the schedule during the last couple of years, and one can tell why. With affordable buy-in and two opening-day flights, this is a perfect tournament for many players to kick off the festival. Last year, Norwegian Sven Omland maneuvered his way through the 174 entries big field and claimed not only €19,200 but also one of the first trophies during the 2024 Kings of Tallinn.

Event #7: €555 Kings of Tallinn Championship (February 22-25)

The €555 Kings of Tallinn Championship is arguably the second most popular tournament after the Main Event. There are four Day 1-flights for the tournament running February 22-23, before Day 2 commences on February 24. Then, the tournament will conclude on February 25 when a winner will be crowned.

Last year, a whopping 700 entries were made, which resulted in a €329,000 prize pool. The biggest share of this would be claimed by Finland’s Mikko Ylämäki, who received €57,860 for his feat.

Event #21: €555 NLH DeepStack Mystery Bounty (February 24-25)

Mystery Bounty tournaments have seen a huge growth in popularity in the last 10 or so years, and it’s evident that it’s an appreciated and thrilling format for live tournaments as well. The €555 DeepStack Mystery Bounty tournament will surely see many players throwing their name into the competition on Day 1, hopeful of bagging a large stack for Day 2 when the mystery envelopes will be introduced.

The tournament didn’t appear in the 2024 schedule under this name, but there were a couple of mystery bounty tournaments, and Heiko Hinkelmann won the one with the €555 buy-in for €7,660.

Event #25: €1,100 NLH Kings of Tallinn Main Event (February 25-March 2)

Then, of course, we have the Main Event. We at poker.pro have written earlier about this tournament, which will feature a €1,000,000 guarantee – which doubles the previous largest guarantee of €500,000.

There are five Day 1-flights for the Main Event, which holds a €1,100 buy-in. The Day 1 survivors will then return to Day 2 alongside the players who choose to register up until the conclusion of Level 13. Ten levels will be played during Day 2; on Day 3, it will play down to a final table. The structure of the Main Event is very deep, and there’s no doubt we’ll see some great poker in the tournament, just as was the case last year when Edgaras Kausinis won the trophy and the €120,910 up top.

Event #36: €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 Championship (February 26-27)

Kings of Tallinn takes pride in having a much diversified tournament schedule, featuring many different poker games. Pot Limit Omaha, of course, being the most popular version of poker except for Texas No Limit Hold ‘em, the €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 Championship makes very much sense in the schedule. This event wasn’t in the tournament schedule in 2024, so there will be a brand-new champion crowned in Tallinn this year for this event.

Event #47: €555 PL Sviten Championship (February 28-March 1)

Sviten is an extremely popular game in the Scandinavian countries, mainly thanks to the game being action-packed by its nature. Historically, there haven’t been too many multi-day tournaments of this five-card draw/PLO hybrid game; there’s no doubt the €555 Sviten Championship will be one of the most intriguing events in Tallinn this year.

The two-day tournament is a newcomer that wasn’t featured on the 2024 tournament schedule; When Björne Lindberg navigated his way through a field consisting of 103 entries last year, the tournament was played during one single day. Lindberg won €4,220 but the buy-in was basically half compared to this year’s two-day event.

Event #49: €1,100 NLH DeepStack Progressive Bounty (February 28-March 1)

Everyone loves a deepstack tournament; with many big blinds, comes much room for creative moves and big bluffs. Pair this with the progressive bounty format, and you have a tournament that surely will attract many players. There were no progressive bounty tournaments at last year’s Kings of Tallinn with a buy-in of the €1,100 caliber, but this two-day story is sure to be a slam-dunk.

Event #55: €3,000 NLH (March 1-2)

It’s always interesting to follow high-roller action, and even though it is €2,000 short of holding the most expensive buy-in, the €3,000 NLH event surely could be seen as a tournament in which the stakes are high. Just like last year, play is 6-handed which really allows for creativity around the tables. Georgios Tsouloftas from Cyprus emerged victorious through the field consisting of 58 players last year and €52,430 is not a poor paycheck.

Event #59: €750 PLO4/PLO5 Mystery Bounty (March 1-2)

Again, mystery bounty tournaments are a thrill to play live, and presumably, many players are grateful that the Kings of Tallinn organizers decided to feature not one but two two-day mystery bounty events.

The €750 PLO4/PLO5 Mystery Bounty is, just like the €3,000 Texas NLH, scheduled right at the end of the festival. It doesn’t get any better than Mixed Games and mystery bounties; the action will be immense in Tallinn during the first two days of March. The reigning champion is Estonia’s Paul Koppe who won €6,020 during last year’s edition when the buy-in was somewhat lower (€555).

With so many multi-day events during the 2025 Kings of Tallinn, there’s no doubt this poker festival will be something beyond the ordinary. We can’t wait to see all the action unfold in the Estonian capital in less than two weeks, and we hope to see you there!
