The moment we have been waiting for is here. The 10th anniversary of the OlyBet Kings of Tallinn kicked off with a preview on the casino floor on Thursday, February 20, and the house was packed with good energy and chips flying.
The 2025 Kings of Tallinn boasts 64 action-packed events from February 21 to March 2 at OlyBet’s flagship home, Olympic Park Casino, and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park. The schedule features tons of hold’em and mixed game events alike, highlighted by the €1 million guaranteed 2025 Kings of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event from Feb. 25 to March 2. Many promotions are planned throughout the extended week, including the value-added OlyBet Team Challenge, with already 78 teams created before the official start of the festival with players competing for what promises to be a record Team Challenge prize pool.
The action kicked off on Thursday with two events on the casino floor before moving to the larger space at the Hilton starting on Friday. The casino floor was buzzing with excitement from the start with friends gathering together while also welcoming any new faces in town.
The action was just as hot as the vibe with 197 entries immediately getting into the action in Event #1: Freebuy Satellite, which guaranteed to award seven seats to the two-day Event #2: €200 NLH 2025 Kings of Tallinn DeepStack Opening Event. Even though this event was free for anyone to enter without touching their wallets, it smashed its guarantee with €3,857 generated between the €20 rebuys and add-ons to award a whopping 19 seats to the target event.
The €200 NLH 2025 Kings of Tallinn DeepStack Opening Event then dominated the action with 213 entries from more than 20 different countries getting into the action on the opening day to already add €39,618 to the prize pool. The field size will continue to grow with late registration remaining open for the first two blind levels of Day 2, along with a 20-minute break.

Marek Martin Leads 2025 Kings of Tallinn DeepStack Opening Event
A total of 213 entries began their journeys on the opening day of the two-day Event #2: €200 NLH 2025 Kings of Tallinn DeepStack Opening Event with 30,000 in chips. However, just 87 players managed to survive the day after 10 levels of 30 minutes each.
Estonia’s Marek Martin will begin Day 2 with the chip lead after he septupled his starting stack from 30,000 to 213,500. This is a relatively new face on the international scene for poker.pro as the Estonian came into the festival with just $101 on his The Hendon Mob profile. A story is waiting to be told if he is able to parlay his chip lead into a victory but he has a long road ahead with many already close to his tail including Lithuania’s Domas Juozenas (181,000), Latvia’s Kaspars Mamons (179,500), Finland’s Jouni Huovila (166,500), and Latvia’s Sergejs Piratovs (165,000).

The action resumes at 12 p.m. sharp with blinds at 1,000/1,500 along with a 1,500 big blind ante. The field size is expected to grow until late registration closes at around 1:20 p.m. with players still able to enter or re-enter during the first two blind levels and the first break of the day.
