Dvoress leads partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event Day 1A

The partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event kicked off with the first of the two Day 1s. 591 players entered the Day 1A and 87 players qualified for the Day 2. At the top of the leaderboard is Canadian poker pro Daniel Dvoress, who accumulated more than 30 million chips.

Not far behind are Brazilian Hermogenes Gelonezi Junior with 27.7m and Hungarian pro Andras Nemeth with 27.3m. In current 4^th place is Dominykas Mikolaitis, an international 2020 WSOP Main Event finalist.

Other notables

There are many other notables who are still in the game, such as Jaime Staples with 8.3m, Dan Shak (7.4m), Steve O’Dwyer (4.8m), Dzmitry Urbanovich (1.9m), Jason Koon (1.7m) and 3rd place finisher in 2018 MILLIONS Online Blaž Žerjav with 679k chips.

All the players who qualified for Day 2 are already in the money with a min cash prize of $18,975.33, but of course everyone is eying the 1^st place that will reward more than a million dollars.

On track to surpass $5 million GTD

With 591 entries, this year’s partypoker MILLIONS Online is on a very good pace to crush $5 million guarantee, as it’s currently sitting at $2,955,000 already and there’s still Day 1B to be played this Sunday, February 28.
