Hello, fellow poker lovers!
I’m incredibly happy to write this article, seeing as these are my first words for PokerPro. I’m very excited to join a team consisting of driven people with loads of experience. I’d like to extend my gratitude to Jason Glatzer and all the others for inviting me to be a part of the team, and I can’t wait to embark on the PokerPro journey with my fellow colleagues.
A few years ago, I was introduced to the game of poker during Christmas with my relatives. I became intrigued and eventually started to read more about poker. However, it wasn’t the game itself that got me on the hook; it’s me in a nutshell to be more interested in the history of something rather than the phenomenon itself.
I began to read about all the big players and how the game had developed throughout the years. I found the world of poker to be very exciting and eventually, I started writing about poker. I wrote some articles and blog posts for various sites, and I even started to write a book about Swedish poker history (a project that’s still ongoing).
During an event in Tallinn 2023, I bumped into Jason. We exchanged some words briefly and roughly a year later he invited me to work with him during the Irish Poker Open as a reporter for the event. I said yes, we had a great couple of days, and I’m absolutely thrilled to now have the opportunity to continue working in the poker industry.
Perla Poker Festival Coming Up
Live reporting will be my primary assignment at PokerPro, and the first stop is Perla Poker Festival. Hosted in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, Perla Poker Festival is the perfect five-day festival to attend in order to kick off the live poker year 2025 in style. Running January 9th-13th, the atmosphere in the Perla poker room ought to be vivid, intense and joyful.
Thanks again to PokerPro for having me on the team; I am beyond ready to throw myself out there covering all the great poker events. Let’s make 2025 a great year!
