Here Are The Winners of The 2021 Global Poker Awards

The 2021 Global Poker Awards were held this weekend in Las Vegas, as they returned after a hiatus last year for obvious reasons. The biggest winner of the awards was the online streaming platform PokerGO.
 
The biggest names of poker all gathered in Las Vegas over the weekend for the third annual Global Poker Awards. Ben Spragg, Veronica Brill, Maria Konnikova, Jamie Kerstetter, Brad Owen, Doug Polk and the deceased Mike Sexton all were among the winners of this prestigious poker award. Some of the categories in which the winners are awarded are Best Vloger, Best Final Table Performance, Best Streamer, Best Tweet and even The Best Poker Trophy.

Since for a majority of 2021 there were lockdowns all over the world, almost all the awards went to US players and organizations. It was to be expected, since all the biggest events were played on US soil, including the 2021 WSOP.

Nevertheless there were still winners from other countries. England, Canada, Germany, France, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Netherlands and perhaps most notably, Japan as Masato Yokosawa won the Personality award, which shows the really huge strenght of his fanbase.
