Abdul Zahir was the bubble tonight, but it too some effort to make it happen. He was nearly felted by Shane Cutinha a few hands back, and then was all in at risk with ace-six into ace-jack. The flop had an ace and a jack on it, which looked awful for Zahir, but the board ran out to aces and kings queen high to chop the pot.
He was then all in at risk with king-three against ace-five for Ryan Smith and spiked his king to double, but he finally ran into it. He was all in with ten-jack but facing pocket kings for Cutinha and couldn’t find his outs. The final 16 are bagging their chips now — stay tuned for the final stacks shortly.
