Day 1b of the Perla Poker Festival Main Event has come to an end. The field of participants may not have been as big as Day 1a, but the quality of poker today was – from time to time – absolutely phenomenal. There’s no doubt about it: Perla Poker Festival attracts all the top poker players within a reasonable distance, and there’s a certain prestige within the tournament.
Let’s summarize Day 1b and see what were the highlights.
Barnabo – Big Stack After Big Show
During Day 1 b, many players displayed great poker skills and a fair share of charisma. One of the players who became familiar was Jacopo Barnabo. From being at risk of elimination—being all-in in the dark with 4 other players in the pot—he survived and built a great stack for day 2; in fact, he’s the one who accumulated the second most chips from Day 1b.
Of course, another hand from today is when Enrico Pezzotti’s aces were cracked within the last 30 minutes of the day. Most of his chips went to Simone Alati, but he still managed to bag several big blinds.
Day 1b had 42 entries in total, meaning €14,280 was collected and will go to the prize pool. 14 players advanced to Day 2 with Italian player Emilio Cimmaruta bagging the chip lead.
Top 5 stacks from Perla Poker Festival 2025 Main Event Day 1b:
Player | Chips |
---|---|
Emilio Cimmaruta | 479,000 |
Jacopo Barnabo | 352,000 |
Marko Cvetanović | 278,000 |
Giovanni Chiofalo | 250,000 |
Carlo Sant | 219,000 |
