Vince Lam Leads High Roller Day 2

Event 16:$2,200 High Roller ($1,965 + $235)
Date:Jan 20, 1 PM
Blinds:40 Minutes
Entries:51/294
Prizes (Winner):$577,710 ($123,847)

Day 2 of the high roller is set with players returning 6 off the money. Edmonton’s Vince Lam is the big stack going into Day 2 with almost 700k. He is about 8k ahead of Jorge Artiga Pacheco with Bradley Ellis, Mike Leah, and Michael Farrow rounding out the top five.

Leah will clearly be one to watch on Day 2. He is 11th on the Canadian money list and has a slew of rings to his name already. He’s still looking for his first Calgary ring, however, so no doubt he’ll be a tough opponent on the final day of play.

Day 2 action starts at 1 PM in the Chrome room with blinds at 4k/8k/8k in Level 16 and they’ll play down to a winner before it ends. I likely won’t be watching this one until late in the day, but the Deerfoot staff will be tracking the prizes so I should at least be able to keep the numbers and bust-outs updated fairly regularly through the day.
