The flop came A♥8♣3♠, catapulting Knaapinen ahead with a top pair against Siljander’s kings. Unfazed, Siljander fired a 6,000 continuation bet, and Knaapinen made the call.
Then disaster struck for Knaapinen on the turn as the K♦ hit, giving Siljander a set of kings. Siljander continued with his story, making a quick bet of 22,000 into the 37,000 pot. Knaapinen made the call, not knowing he was stone-cold dead already.
