After winning the flip to take the trophy. Russel Sluchinskr is the victor of the Seniors event. Him and Robert Limpert chopped the money with Sluchinskr receiving an extra $500 for his larger stack. Sluchinskr had a slow start to the day. However, as play got into the later levels he found monster hand after monster hand eliminating opponent after opponent.
He found pocket aces six times in the latter half of the tournament and they were never cracked. Once he gained the big stack, Sluchinskr didn’t let up and continued to apply pressure netting him more chips and eliminations as play got short handed.
