Mike Farrow just met a brutal end in the High Roller for 3rd place.Big stack Tommy Nguyen raised the button to 165k, then shoved when Farrow three-bet the small blind to 400k. Farrow snap-called but ran into a cooler with queens into kings for Nguyen.
The board ran clean for the kings and Nguyen chipped up to about 9.7 million with only 11.8 million in play. He is now heads up against MIke Leah, however — no matter how many chips Leah has, he is dangerous, and no doubt he’d love to grab his first Calgary ring.
