The final hand before the break saw the two Comely brothers go at it. Ryan Comely raised the cutoff to 6k and his brother Tony Comely called from the big blind. They both checked the 6♠4♥Q♣ flop and Tony led for 6k on the 8♣ turn.
Ryan called to the K♣ river and after a check from Tony, Ryan fired 15k. “You hit the flush after I get top-two, eh?” Tony said as he tossed in his 15k call, sending it down the table close to Ryan. Tony had the read right as Ryan rolled over J♣7♣ for the running flush and the win.
That took some wind out of Tony Comely’s sails. He had been close to Rob Limpter with the top stacks, but his brother Ryan is now second behind Limpert while Tony is sitting third right now.
