Josh Myers opened to 160k from the middle before big blind David Katzov shoved. Myers called it off with more and looked to be in good shape with ace-king over ace-queen. Poker had other ideas, however, and Katzov spiked both an ace and a queen on the flop, boating up with another queen on the turn for the win.
“I don’t know how I can lose ace-king into ace-queen so often,” Myers said as he was counting out the double. Day 2 will be going on a dinner break following this level, and I’ll grab full chip counts then for all remaining players.
