The flop came 5♦7♣6♦ to give Soya the lead with a sweat. The turn improved Exner to a straight as it peeled the 4♣. However, the river swung the odds for good as it completed the board with the 6♥.
Exner has had a pretty absurd run in the Ladies games here at WSOP-C in Calgary. She’s won the last two of these events on the trot and damn near made it three-for-three tonight until she ran into the bad beat. With two wins and a 3rd place in this event, it’s a safe bet we’ll see her back for the October series.
