After a long fought Day 1d, only two turbo flights remain in the Mini Main. He bagged a monster stack with 553,000, the second-largest stack of the day. Staples had a hard-fought day being nearly crippled early on. Luck was on his side as he found a two outer on the river to soar to nearly double the starting stack. Today was filled with action, as both side events and the Mini Main ran rampant.

Nothing Mini About this Main
Day 1d saw the most entrants, with 169 players joining this flight. So far, the prize pool has ballooned to £89,785, with another flight and a half to be added. The action took little time to pick up as, in the first reported hand, Visan found quads. Bobby Sky got off to a massive chip lead early, sitting with 210,400 by the first break.
Runner-up in the poker.pro PLO event Gang Wang found an early stack and took down a pot with the hand dubbed the “Dirty Diaper.” Bubble play approached as Stefan Stroffeck climbed the ranks. He bested Haggart by jamming on the turn to soar to 264,300. Flynn won a hand with the Dolly Parton hand and joined the ranks of the top chip stacks of the day. Play continued and the bubble burst shortly after to bring 43 players into Day 2.
Tennessee Hold’em Was a Hoot and a Holler
A new event made its debut in the PartyPoker tournament: Tennessee Hold’em. Scott Hill’s brainchild combines the thrill of NLH with the playability of other variants. The £210 Tennessee Hold’em is a new variant focusing on a more inclusive and fair structure with nearly double the hands played as traditional NLH. Along with the podium position trophies, various merch was available to win through the event.
