Juha Helppi limped in from the small blind and called when big blind Renan Bruschi raised to 3,000. Helppi checked to Bruschi on the 5♥9♦3♣ flop, after which the Brazilian continued for 2,300.
Helppi raised to 7,500, which Bruschi called after some thought. The 3♦ turn was quickly checked through before Helppi fired 11,000 on the 6♠ river.
Bruschi spent some minutes in the tank before flicking in a call. Helppi tabled A♠9♣ for top pair, taking down the pot when Bruschi quickly added his cards to the muck.
