The opening game of the 2025 PPT season is for Seniors only, but the rest of the field isn’t left out of the action. 2025 PPT 1 – Event #2: $340 NLH Bounty ($210 + $75 + $55) gets underway at 4 PM with 3.5 hours (9 levels) of late registration available (the final shot at the reg-desk will be about 7:30 PM).
Players get 20k in chips to start for a turbo-like 20-minute blind structure. This is a one-day game that will award a trophy by the end of the night.
Coverage of this one will likely be sparse in the early going as Alek Gillies (who is subbing info for me on the opening day ) will be focused on the Seniors game until that trophy is won — hopefully by me as Alek is covering for me so I can play. Once the Seniors game is complete (and he’s taken my winner’s photo lol) he’ll finish out his night on this bounty game.
