The 2024 Alberta Poker Index awards were presented here tonight on Day 1b of the Main Event and it was a pretty familiar crew with the trophies. Haven Taylor won her second straight Womens title while Julius Roque captured the Seniors trophy. Michael Malm was the runaway winner of the overall prize though with ~40% more points than anyone else. Malm’s run looks to be continuing — while he didn’t make it through this Main Event, he is leading the early 2025 standings.
