Day 1b of the Monster Stack is set to run on Wednesday, and Day 1a was a monster. They had 589 entries for the opening flight, which blew the 2024 Day 1a number out by more than 10%. That bodes well for a big Day 1b – 2024 saw 850 entries for 1b and if the 10% holds, that would put 1b around 940 entries.
The prize pool is almost $200k already after Day 1a, so total prizes of more than $400k seems very doable. The action will get underway at 11 am on Wednesday with 40k to start. Blinds are 30 minutes long on Day 1, and late entries are open for 12 levels, or until about 6:15 PM.
The hard stop on Day 1 play is 24 levels, but Day 1a bagged 5% of the field in Level 22, and 1b will also bag early if they hit 5%. I will likely be a bit late to the floor on Wednesday, but I’ll be watching 1b until the bag.
