Entries for the Main Event are now closed with the final unofficial tally for Day 1c at 649 entries. That will be confirmed later tonight when the 1c prizes are posted, but if it holds it should mean 98 paid spots from today with at least 65 players bagging for tomorrow’s Day 2.
While there are a lot of familiar faces in the crowd who have been here for most of the series, there are a couple of players I’ve seen today for the first time. Weimin Hou, who picked up a ring here in the mix NLH/PLO event in 2022, Sinan Tawfik, and Anthony Mar are all here for the final few days of play.
