$50k in Prizes with Johnson Leading Early

Level:5 (300/500/500)
Entries:40/51 (45/89 combined)
Prizes:Day 1b: $29,070, Combined: $50,730

The 1b field is over 50 entries now for a combined total of 89 entries across both starting flights. That puts the combined prizes at just shy of $51k and growing.

I had a quick look around at the break and it looks like David Johnson is the early chip leader with 75k in front of him. Ali Razzaq is also stacking up with 67.5k in play while Jerry Tria, who is back in the game after a couple of years away from the tables, has about 50k in front of him going into Level 5.

Entries are still open for about 2 hours and 45 minutes, so it seems likely the numbers could go as high as 70 for today. Among the other players I spotted in today’s action so far are Kim Pham, Kris Steinbach, Mal Hagan, Nohad Teliani, Edmonton’s Paul Brar, Ryan Comely, Tony Comely, and Stefan Maloney.
