  • Let’s Make a Deal

    Level:26 (30000/60000/60000)
    Entries:1/114
    Prizes:$22,202

Once they got heads up, Frank Gallie had the big lead with more than 2 million of the 2.8 million in play. But poker is a fickle game, and just a few hands later, after a couple of smaller doubles, Justin Joson found a huge spot with pocket aces when Gallie shoved over an open to 120k. Joson snapped it off and Gallie was drawing to the wheel with ace-three.

He nearly found a chop when the 996910 board had one too few nines on it to counterfeit the aces. Joson held for a double to about 2.4 million with Gallie on just 400k. Joson offered an even chop at that point with the stipulation that he took the official win, as there were only about 40 big blinds total on the table. Gallie took a few seconds to think about it, but with just 5 bigs, he decided it was too good a deal to pass up, despite being against making a deal earlier in the evening.

Both players scored $5,163, and Joson recorded the official win.

  • Shoaib Syed Out in 3rd Place for $3,108

    Level:26 (30000/60000/60000)
    Entries:2/114
    Prizes:$22,202

They are down to heads up now after Frank Gallie sent Shoaib Syed to the rail in 3rd. Gallie was on ace-queen of diamonds against king-queen of clubs for Syed. Gallie turned his ace and held. Both players had exactly the same stack with 1.09 million, so Syed was out and Gallie was up well over 2 million.

Syed was the anonymous player earlier, and he gave me permission to use his name. However, I didn’t get a picture of him.

  • Lillian Munch Out in 4th Place for $2,220

    Level:26 (30000/60000/60000)
    Entries:3/114
    Prizes:$22,202
    Lillian Munch

They are down to three left now after Lillian Munch hit the rail in 4th place, though I missed the action.

  • Gallie Doubles to Lead

    Level:25 (25000/50000/50000)
    Entries:4/114
    Prizes:$22,202

Shoaib Syed limped under the gun, then called when Frank Gallie shoved 575k from the button. Syed was on pocket queens against K8. Gallie spiked his king and held for the double to aroud 1.2 million, while Syed was left with about 700k

  • Moved to Poker

    Level:25 (25000/50000/50000)
    Entries:4/114
    Prizes:$22,202

The action has now moved to the poker room as the main casino closed at 3 am so they had to vacate the Chrome room.

  • Patrick Corbet Out in 5th Place for $1,554

    Level:23 (15000/30000/30000)
    Entries: 4/173
    Prizes:$22,202
    Patrick Corbet

Patrick Corbet had the chip lead after the break, but poker is a fickle game, and he just hit the rail in 5th place. The big damage came when he recently doubled up Lillian Munch. The final damage came when he shoved his remaining stack with 104 but ran into Shoaib Syed’s king-jack and the king held.

  • Munch Flops It, Still has to Sweat

    Level:23 (15000/30000/30000
    Entries:5/114
    Prizes:$22,202

Patrick Corbet limped in from the hijack and both Lillian Munch and Justin Joson called in the blinds. The flop was 634 and Munch led for 60k. Joson called before Corbet bumped it up to 300k.

Munch didn’t take long to shove the rest of her stack. That sent Joson into the tank with him ultimately folding while Corbet called quickly.

Corbet had a diamond draw with a gunshot playing 107 while Munch flopped the joint with [invalid notations]. The K6 runout left Munch’s flopped straight in the lead.

  • Joson Doubles

    Level:23 (15000/30000/30000)
    Entries:5/114
    Prizes:$22,202

Juston Joson found a double with pocket aces when the money went in on a flop of JQ3. Frank Gallie had top pair and a backdoor heart draw with J7. He turned another heart on the KK runout but bricked the river.

  • Kelly Mason Out in 6th Place for $1,110

    Level:22 (15000/25000/25000)
    Entries:5/114
    Prizes:$22,202
    Kelly Mason

They are down to 5 now after Kelly Mason hit the rail for 6th. He was short after doubling up Shoaib Syed when Syed flushed him out. He shoved the cutoff for 135k and Frank Gallie reshoved the button for more.

Gallie had kings against 107 for Mason and the kings held.

  • Corbet Still Leads at Break

    Level:22 (15000/25000/25000)
    Entries:6/114
    Prizes:$22,202

Patrick Corbet is still leading with 800k right now, but he just sent some across the table when he flopped top pair but ran into the aces of Lillian Munch. The pot gave her the second stack of 557k — see below for the rest of the final 6 stacks.

Tyler Hurman took 7th place tonight after he shoved for 54k and was called by two players. On the 958 flop big blind Frank Gallie bet 32k, then folded when the anonymous player raised to 100k. Hurman was playing ace-six, but he was drawing thin against pocket eights. 69 gave Hurman a bit of help but not enough to survive.
