2025 Pure Poker Tour Series #1 – Event #7: $340 Survivor

LIVE Reporting: Pure Poker Tour

The 2025 Pure Poker Tour kicks off on February 13 at Pure Casino Edmonton, with live coverage by Lyle Bateman throughout the series.

  • Cairns, Ramahi, Aloneissi Survive

I didn’t have much time to watch this one but I did manage to get some pictures and the results at least. Bash Ramahi, Ryan Cairs, and Avery Aloneissi were the three players to survive in Event #7 tonight.

  • Cairns Leading Final Five

    Level:12 (1500/2500/2500)
    Entries:5/21
    Prizes:$5,985

I’ve just had a quick look in the other room and it looks like Ryan Cairns is the chip leader. He has close to 400k in front of him while Maddie Sharma and Allen Butkovic were the recent casualties to bring them two away from ending the game with three left.

  • 21 Entries for E7; 3 Survivors to Get $1,995 Each

    Level:11 (1000/2000/2000)
    Entries:7/21
    Prizes:$5,985

There were 21 entries for the Survivor game tonight and three players will share in almost $6k in prizes at the end of the night. They are now down to 7 players left in the game — Ryan Cairns, Maddie Sharma, Allen Butkovic, Weston Pring (who max-late-regged this one after winning E3 earlier today), Bash Ramahi, and Avery Aloneissi. This game is playing out in the poker room and I am still in Social watching the end of E6 so I don’t have eyes on what the stacks look like right now.

  • Survivor Game Closes Out Sunday’s Action

    Event 7:$340 Survivor ($295 + $45)
    Date:Feb 16, 7 PM
    Blinds:20 Minutes
    Starting Stack:20k
    Late Entry:8 Levels (~8:10 PM)
    Day 1 Ends:One-Day Event

The final game on Sunday evening is the Survivor game. For $340, players get 20k in chips for 20-minute levels throughout the day. This is essentially a satellite format with cash prizes instead of T$ or tickets at the end, but once the top 1% is reached, they’ll stop play and divide the prize pool equally between the remaining players.

Players have 8 levels of poker to get into the game or rebuy. With breaks, that should put the final chance to enter at about 8:10 PM. I likely won’t be watching much of this one. My guess is this will end before Event #6 does so I will likely only be able to report numbers and possibly get a picture of the prize winners but there will almost certainly be very limited action covered in this one.
