Zahiti then put in a tiny bet of 3,000 on the J river, being snapped off by Keto-Tokoi. Zahiti tabled A7 for a pair of sevens, but was bested by the KQ of Keto-Tokoi, who raked in the pot.

    Fidan Zahiti – 60,000

  • Gevorgian Loses Back-to-Back All-Ins

    Level 11:600/1,200 (1,200)
    Entries:271/601
    Prizes:€279,465

Robbie Schiffbauer had opened from the button and Gevorg Gevorgian called in the small blind. Ziga Klopcic then put in his stack of 26,300 from the big blind, leading to a quick fold from Schiffbauer. Gevorgian gave Klopcic a good staredown before calling off with the covering stack.

    Ziga Klopcic: 1010
    Gevorg Gevorgian: 98

The 3J69 flop and turn gave Gevorgian plenty of outs, but the 4 river was not one of them, doubling up Klopcic.

One hand later, Schiffbauer open-raised again before being put all-in by Gevorgian for around 22,500. He made a quick call as the cards hit their backs.

    Robbie Schiffbauer: KQ
    Gevorg Gevorgian: K10

This time, Gevorgian had no outs remaining after the Q82Q flop and turn, doubling up a second player in quick succession.

    Ziga Klopcic – 56,300
    Robbie Schiffbauer – 47,000
    Gevorg Gevorgian – 6,000

  • Zindulis Takes Three-Way Three-Bet Pot

    Level 10: 600/1,200 (1,200)
    Entries: 269/584
    Prizes: €271,560

Roberto Olsen kicked off the action with a raise to 2,700 from under the gun. Niklavs Zindulis called in the seat next to him before Tommy Piiroinen did so on the button. Big blind Aleksi Naski had other plans, however, and three-bet to 14,500.

Both Olsen and Zindulis put in calls before Piiroinen got out of the way. Naksi then continued for 5,500 on the 493 flop, which Olsen called. Zindulis opted for a raise to 40,000, which quickly folded out both opponents and shipped him the pot.

    Aleksi Naski – 115,000
    Niklavs Zindulis – 100,000
    Tommy Piiroinen – 95,000
    Roberto Olsen – 71,000

Ahmet Canatan got his stack of 15,500 in from the small blind against Illia Petrytsia in the big blind.

    Ahmet Canatan: 99
    Illia Petrytsia: AK

Petrytsia shot in the lead on the KQ7 flop, but the 9 turn locked up the pot for Canatan’s nines. The 8 river was rendered meaningless as both players ended up around the starting stack.

    Ahmet Canatan: 32,200
    Illia Petrytsia: 30,000

    Artem Beliand: 87
    John Hallberg: AA

The 4 river could not save Hallberg’s aces, doubling up his opponent and being left with just over ten big blinds.

    Artem Beliand – 45,000
    John Hallberg – 16,000

  • Shuffle Up and Deal

  • Karolis Kutkauskas Leads Massive Returning Field for Day 2 of €555 Kings of Tallinn Championship

The €555 Championship always draws a bumper crowd at the Kings of Tallinn festivals, and it was no different this time around for the tenth anniversary of the premier Baltic poker event. Across four starting flights at Olympic Park Casino, 516 entries were made, of which 244 bagged up for Day 2. Karolis Kutkauskas from Lithuania reigns over them all, having amassed 286,600 chips on Day 1, nearly ten times the starting stack of 30,000, and good for 239 big blinds when play resumes. Kutkauskas is closely followed by the Finnish pair of Mikael Koistinen and Henri Kettunen, while Yurii Zabrodotskyi from Ukraine and Andreas Werner from Sweden also crossed the 200,000-mark.
